User interface and preferences in PIC Customers
Learn how to sign in, find applications, use favorites, sign out, and customize profile, language, region, and notification preferences.
Prerequisites
You must have an active portal user and access to the PIC Customers profile.
1. Introduction to the portal
The portal interface brings together the applications available to each user role. From there you can open the enabled modules, mark applications as favorites, and access your personal preferences.
You sign in with your username or email and password. If you do not remember your password, use the Forgot my password option to receive the reset link.
2. What it solves for the user
A correct profile setup helps you work with dates, times, language, number separators, and notifications consistently with day-to-day operations.
Favorites reduce navigation time and let each user keep the applications they use most at hand.
3. How to use the interface and preferences
Review the main elements of the portal before working with orders or documents.

Open available applications
From the home page, review the applications enabled for your role and select the one you need to use.

Mark applications as favorites
Use the Favorite option within an application to add it to the favorites section and access it faster next time.

Update preferences
Open the profile icon to edit first name, last name, phone, language, date format, time format, decimal separator, decimals, and notifications.

Sign out
Use Sign out when you finish working or need to sign in with another user. Confirm the action when the system asks.
Recommended preferences
Language and region
Select Spanish, English, or Portuguese and the date format that best fits your operation.
Number format
Set the decimal separator and number of decimals to read amounts and quantities without ambiguity.
Notifications
Turn alerts on or off for order creation, approval, dispatch, or status changes.
